Job Details : \n

  • Work 3x12 day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM with holiday rotation

    • \n

  • Maintain 1 : 2 patient ratios

    • \n

  • Every other weekend requirement with holiday rotation

    • \n

  • No on-call responsibilities

    • \n

  • Float within scope to meet facility needs, same expectation as current staff nurses with agency floating first

    • \n

  • Minimum 1 year of experience required (preferably 2 years)

    • \n

  • First-time travelers not accepted

    • \n

  • Travel experience required

    • \n

  • South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start

    • \n

  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

    • \n

  • Cardiac and Neuro experience required

    • \n

  • Royal blue scrubs required

    • \n

  • Epic charting system

    • \n

  • Free parking provided

    • \n

  • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

    • \n

  • Local travelers not accepted (60-mile radius rule)

    • \n

  • Must be available for emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)

    • \n

  • Pre-start modules required (approximately 4 hours, non-billable)

    • \n

  • Care for post-cardiac surgery patients and manage complex cardiovascular conditions

    • \n

  • Work with specialized equipment including chest tubes, IABP, Impella, CRRT, temporary pacers, Swan Ganz, and cardiac output monitors

    This acute care facility features 276 staffed beds and provides comprehensive cardiovascular and neurological intensive care services. The facility utilizes Epic charting systems and offers interdisciplinary support including respiratory services and phlebotomy. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and specializes in post-cardiac surgery care and complex cardiovascular conditions, equipped with advanced monitoring and life support technologies.
