Resident Care Aide

Peaceful Pines - Spearfish is a senior living community that provides independent living, assisted living, and memory care services for area seniors.

We are seeking an experienced caregiver to join our hardworking team of professionals as a Resident Care Aide (RCA) / Caregiver.

The role : The RCA's primary role is to ensure the well-being and protection of every resident through the delivery of high-quality care. The RCA is responsible for aiding residents with daily living activities that may include but are not limited to bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing / undressing, walking, transporting, and other cares. The RCA will be trained to become a Medication Aide who administers prescribed medications to residents, as delegated by the community's Registered Nurse.

We have full-time opportunities. The RCA will report to the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications : Candidates must be dependable, have a contagiously positive attitude, and a passion for working with seniors and / or caring for others. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and employees. Ideal candidates will have experience working in senior living.
