Construction Project Manager

The Construction Project Manager will own, develop, and direct all activities vital to completing profitable and timely construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Write subcontracts for Electrical, Mechanical, and Architectural subcontractors.
  • Create invoices using any invoicing software to bill project owners.
  • Conceptualize and create budgets for projects ranging from $40-$50 million.
  • Work alongside the estimating team to process change orders and review their work.
  • Manage project schedules in collaboration with the superintendent.
  • Oversee budget management to ensure financial efficiency.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in construction project management.
  • Proficiency in conceptualizing and managing project budgets.
  • Ability to write subcontracts.
  • Experience with large multifamily projects valued at $50 million.
  • Proficiency in project management, estimation, and blueprint reading.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite, Bluebeam, and MS Project.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering, or equivalent field experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management.
  • Preferred experience with relevant project management methodologies.

    • Work Environment

    The first few months will be spent in preconstruction at the office in NE Portland. Following this, you will be onsite at a $50 million multifamily project in Hillsboro. The company is a medium-sized, non-union general contractor with a family feel and a progressive, dynamic team.     This is a permanent position based out of Portland, Oregon.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 / yr. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. 401(k) with company match. Tuition reimbursement and paid certifications. Paid time off, holidays, and company events.
