Job description

Commercial Lending Production Manager

Financial Institution in the Minneapolis area is seeking a leader to help manage a current team of 3, and hire a 4th when onboarded. Seeking a professional leader with experience managing a commercial or business banking team. Focus would be on innovation, process improvement, procedures, and some project management skills. Day to day would be supporting processors from origination to close.

The commercial lending production manager manages the loan processing functions of the department, working alongside commercial loan officers, credit analysts, and portfolio servicers to ensure that new and existing commercial loan requests are efficiently and accurately brought from start to finish. This position leads loan processors, prepares and maintains production reporting, reviews and audits loan files, prepares materials for yearly exams, processes loan files, and maintains compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures. This position is also responsible for providing assistance with various commercial lending tasks as needed, and demonstrating a strong internal and external customer service focus throughout.

Expectations include :

  • PC proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, and Outlook / E-mail or equivalents.

  • Proven project management skills in a multi-tasking environment, to include organizing and prioritizing work.
  • Ability to work individually and as a team player, being flexible and dependable.
  • Ability to work in a complex, rapidly changing environment.
  • A high level of professionalism while displaying strong interpersonal skills.
  • Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and various background checks.

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or related, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of related experience, preferably in the commercial real estate industry, with an acceptable track record.
  • 3+ years of management experience in a related business environment.
  • Pay and benefits :

    The pay range for this position is $73,500.00 to $91,500.00 per year. Potential for 6% bonus offer, paid semiannually.
