Join our dynamic Surgical Specialties team, where we care for patients undergoing vascular and bariatric procedures , as well as general med-surg patients based on surgical volume. Our unit flexes to meet the needs of our surgical population, offering a diverse and engaging clinical environment.

Primary Patient Population Includes :

Bariatric Surgery :

Gastric Sleeve

Gastric Bypass

(Note : Not all patients are bariatric)

Vascular Surgery :

Carotid Endarterectomy (CEA)

Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Repair

Revascularizations

Thrombectomies

Amputations

Additional Care Needs :

General Med-Surg patients

Glucommander IV insulin therapy for glycemic management

What You’ll Do :

Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to a diverse surgical population

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Monitor and manage post-operative recovery and chronic conditions

Utilize advanced tools like Glucommander for insulin management

Flex between patient types based on unit needs and surgical volume

Qualifications :

Current RN license in Georgia

Previous experience in surgical, med-surg, or critical care nursing is a plus

Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
