Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ED - Emergency Department Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type : Travel Title : Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Pediatrics) Location : Orange, CA Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Variable 3x12-Hour Shifts Job Responsibilities and All Required and Preferred Skills and Requirements : Responsibilities : Provide emergency nursing care to pediatric patients (including neonates through age 25) in a high-volume Level I pediatric trauma center. Treat a wide range of pediatric emergencies including respiratory, GI, psychiatric, neurological, trauma, and infectious conditions. Respond to pediatric codes internally (self-run). Work in a 30-bed pediatric ER with ED tech support (1 tech per nurse, plus triage techs). Support peak seasonal demand (especially winter). Utilize fast track and designated triage areas. No floating or call required.
