Job descriptionOracle 19c RAC, Clusterware installation, patching and admin Oracle 19c ASM installation, configuration and admin. PL / SQL & SQL development experience Linux shell scripting experience Knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and deployment of Oracle. 401k : Employer contributes 25% of base salary, no employee contribution required ($25,000 – $50,000 annually, paid in monthly) Benefits Account (can be spent on benefits or taken as cash) : 25% of base salary ($25,000 – $50,000) Fully flexible working hours (you choose start / finish time) Up to 8 Weeks' PTO Medical / Dental / Vision Life Insurance 100% tuition reimbursement (PhD, MSc, BSc, Vendor Certs)
Role : Senior Oracle Database Administrator
Location : Fairfax, VA (Onsite)
Salary : $100,000 - $200,000 (150k - 300k including benefits)
Clearance : Must hold an active TS / SCI
I am working with a leading Defense and Space organization, based in Fairfax, who are looking for an experienced Oracle DBA to support mission critical systems. Looking for a candidate that has experience working with Oracle 19c technologies and system administration practices in a Linux environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install, configure and maintain Oracle 19c, Clusterwase and standalone database environments.
- Develop and manage comprehensive Oracle RMAN backup and recovery strategies.
- Oracle Data Guard configuration, administration, and high availability concepts.
- Oracle PL / SQL and SQL programming
- Create and maintain automation scripts in Linux shell.
