Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses, implements, and evaluates the care required by assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN demonstrates knowledge of current nursing principles, theories, and techniques, and utilizes the nursing process to provide high-quality, individualized patient care.

Working collaboratively with patients, their families, professional peers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team, the RN ensures optimal outcomes and adherence to the standards of nursing practice. The RN also directs and supports nursing staff in delivering care consistent with departmental and administrative policies and procedures.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing ( required )

Minimum of 1 year experience in the area of clinical specialty ( preferred )

Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License ( required )
