KBR's National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country's most critical role - protecting our national security. KBR is seeking a Security Specialist to join our team in El Segundo, CA. An active TS / SCI is required to be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities :

• Enforcing and monitoring security procedures
• Ensures compliance with all aspects of the government and company security policies and procedures related to : physical access to buildings, room, couriers, clearances, packages, documentation and debriefings.
• May conduct security briefings and maintain security education programs
• Investigates losses and security violations; may recommend corrective action.
• Maintains liaison with outside agencies and keeps upper management informed of all security activities.
• Assists in revision of procedures manuals.
• Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies.
• Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.

Required Qualifications :

Scheduled Weekly Hours : 40

Basic Compensation : $100,000 to $125,000

Additional Compensation : KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
