Savvas Learning Company is seeking a K-12 Literacy & Humanities Curriculum Specialist to cover the Pacific territory, including California and Hawaii. The Curriculum Specialist (CS) will work with Curriculum Specialist Managers and Account Managers across the territory and partner with market sales and product management teams to support the sales process from prospect to close, and to advance Savvas products and solutions in the Pacific market. The CS will develop and maintain relationships with school, state, regional, and district decision makers and share expertise in company offerings, pedagogy, and the competitive environment. Following the sales cycle, the CS is responsible for post-sales support and activation.
This position will be required to attend on-site customer meetings in California.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute to meeting and exceeding the Pacific market sales quota.
Create and present compelling presentations covering all six customer touch points :
Develop and maintain relationships with key PK-12 decision-makers within the market segment.
Gather and relay customer feedback to sales, product, and marketing teams to enhance offerings and strategies.
Stay current with Savvas products and services through certification and training processes to support the sales cycle.
Provide Product Activation training for both new and existing customer accounts.
Offer professional learning workshops to districts and at conferences to support customer needs.
Demonstrate a deep knowledge of Savvas Literacy and Humanities solutions, both print and digital.
Work with sales, services, and product management teams to ensure alignment, address customer satisfaction issues, and support overall customer success.
Maintain positive relationships throughout the sales cycle and post-activation; communicate effectively and route to Savvas teams as needed.
Provide high levels of customer service to foster satisfaction and loyalty.
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE :
Experience in K-12 Literacy and / or Humanities with strong understanding of curriculum standards, frameworks, and assessment / intervention practices.
Drive to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Ability to deliver engaging sales presentations and product orientations.
Flexible, team-oriented, and able to adapt strategies based on feedback and evolving circumstances.
Proactive, independent, and capable of managing projects from inception to completion.
Genuine enthusiasm for K-12 education and influencing decision-making.
Strong time management and ability to organize materials for efficient workflow.
Effective communicator with all levels of TK-12 staff; capable of engaging districts in the Southwest territory.
Understanding of sales campaign strategy and market trends.
English and Spanish a plus, not required.
