Foster Youth Want You to Mentor Them!

One person that says "Yes," to mentoring a foster youth can change the world! Not only for the mentee but also the life of the mentor.

My son has had a mentor since he was 12 and is now 32 years old. Everyday I am grateful for "Ben" as he was one person that poured into my son, kept hope alive and guided him through the last 20 years of ups and downs. One person made a choice but it changed the life of multiple lives.

These youth are normal kids that have been impacted but by family situations that have nothing to do with them. They need people that will care about them and not judge them. They need a mentor that is committed!

Be A Mentor, Inc. has been positively interacting with youth since its founding in 1992 and continues to connect youth with dedicated volunteer adults throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. We provide a direct mentoring service to youth (such as those in foster care; with incarcerated parents; susceptible to gang participation, drug / alcohol abuse or teen parenting; homeless / in transition or academically struggling).
