Job descriptionCentral Carolina Hospital is a 137-bed acute care hospital located in Sanford, NC, providing quality healthcare since 1981. The hospital offers a wide range of specialties including cardiology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, emergency medicine, gastroenterology, hospitalist services, intensivists, nephrology, hematology, urology, podiatry, pulmonary medicine, and wound care. The ICU unit has 8 beds with patient ratios of 1 : 2-3 and uses Cerner EHR. The position is for an RN in the ICU specialty with 1-2 years of experience, serving all ages. Common diagnosis / treatment includes respiratory failure. The role requires float capabilities with a ratio of 1 : 6. Dress code allows any scrub color; casual wear is not acceptable. Must have RN licensure to work in North Carolina. Required certifications prior to start : ACLS, BLS, CPI / HWC / MAB, and NIH. ICU experience is required. Preferred skillset includes high acuity experience. Shift : Days, 7 AM to 7 PM. Weekly guaranteed hours : 36. Weekend hours as needed, every other weekend. Call requirements as needed. ICU unit with 8 beds and patient ratios of 1 : 2-3. Float requirements with a ratio of 1 : 6. Common diagnosis includes respiratory failure. EHR system used is Cerner. Unit Profile : ICU / CCU department, cost center 16776 (650). Supervisor : Inpatient Nursing Manager. Patient population served includes all ages. Scrub color choice is flexible; no casual wear allowed.
