Production Supervisor – Eaton, OH
The Opportunity
Our client, a national producer of metal building products, has hired us to find a Production Supervisor for their Eaton, OH location.
This position is responsible for leading coil slitting, multi-blanking, and packaging operations while ensuring safety, quality, production efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead safety-first culture through training, audits, and incident investigations
Monitor production quality to meet customer specifications and reduce defects
Manage daily operations to achieve KPIs including scrap, yield, and efficiency
Develop high-performance teams through coaching, mentoring, and performance management
Support ISO 9001 quality system compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
Drive data-driven improvements through accurate production reporting and analysis
Optimize line utilization, planning, and labor coordination for maximum productivity
Qualifications : Required :
High school diploma or GED
Supervisory experience in metal processing or manufacturing environment
Strong leadership skills with proven ability to build effective teams
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 : 2015 quality management systems
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP / MRP systems
Preferred :
Associate or bachelor's degree in manufacturing, operations, or related field
Direct experience in coil slitting, multi-blanking, or related metal processing
