Job descriptionAt least one year of general maintenance experience required; multifamily experience is a plus, but not required. Join the team at Proximity Luxury Apartments in Charleston, SC as a Maintenance Technician I and kickstart your career in apartment maintenance. This entry-level role supports repairs, unit turns, and daily upkeep to keep our community clean, safe, and move-in ready.
And as a welcome bonus , we’re offering $1,500 upon start just for joining the team!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with repairs in apartments and common areas
- Support unit make-readies, painting, light plumbing, and cleaning
- Help maintain tools, carts, and grounds
- Change locks, filters, and light fixtures as needed
- Respond to service requests and help with on-call emergencies
- Track supplies and report issues to Maintenance Supervisor
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
