This position is located at our West County Energy Center in Loxahatchee, Florida and will travel the state of Florida to support the fleet outages in duration of up to 3 months at a time. Tools are provided by the company. Days and shifts will vary based on the business unit needs during the outage. Normal schedule (not supporting an outage) is a day shift Monday-Friday. Overtime hours average approximately between 400 hours to 800 hours per year. Employees are offered per diem when traveling outside of their region. The plant operates 24 / 7 so individuals will be expected to work and support weekend days as needed.

Job Overview :

• Performs preventive maintenance to ensure proper functioning of plant equipment :
• Performs testing, overhauls, repair / replacement, and removal / installation of plant electrical equipment, with a focus on circuit breakers and batteries.
• Utilizes / operates various types of test instruments. Uses hand, power, tools / equipment necessary to support a safe and productive work environments.
• Candidates will be required to take and pass the MASS Test and also be Hands-On tested to demonstrate knowledge and craft skills.
• Candidates will also be required to take a pre-placement functional evaluation.
• Work Schedule : Day Shift.
• Travel required for this position within the state of Florida.
