Max - up to 5 years of experience needed (Experience in Operations & Application support), we don't need Network Engineer profiles
- 3 to 5 years' experience / working knowledge about networking devices like Cisco routers switches
- 3 to 5 years' experience with Red Hat Linux and in an enterprise environment, Application support
AND / OR
2 to 3 years' experience / knowledge about WebSphere Application serverAND / OR
2 to 3 years' experience with working with or having knowledge about Database (DB2 preferred)Overall relevant experience should not be more than 5 years
Job Description / Responsibilities
Summary : Responsibilities are that of NOC support team ( Network Operations)
Assist in the support of servers, network devices and mainframes at all facilities for hardware or software errorsSupport Java, WebSphere & File Transfer applicationsExecute diagnostic tests to monitor the health and performance of computer systems and communications equipmentProvide network support for WAN and IP Telephony networksMonitor help desk calls and assist in the in resolution of problems; escalate problems to internal technical groups as appropriateTriaging, troubleshooting and resolving escalated production issues on a complex mission critical application as per SOP (guideline)Create documentation that will troubleshoot internal networks and systems efficientlyProactively contact participants when surveillance systems identify connectivity issuesImplement and participate in Disaster Recovery exercisesSupport release implementation, infrastructure upgrades, maintenance and disaster recovery testingPrepare Operations for the implementation or decommission of servicesEngage with other technical teams and assist / develop technical solution for integration projectsPerform root cause analysis of issues as neededDevelop runbooks for recurring issues, system implementation, shutdown and recoveryThis role is NOC Ops representative within the NOC support team providing support during off-business hours (7 pm to 6 am)
Qualifications desired (not mandatory) :
