Senior Accountant (CONTRACT)

We're looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join the Finance and Accounting team in a Contract capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and review month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper classification of transactions.
• Prepare and process P&L budget reclasses and perform flux analysis reviews
• Prepare reconciliations and audit schedules; liaise with external auditors during interim and annual audits.
• Assist in the preparation of tax filings and other regulatory reporting.
• Support payroll processing and related accounting entries.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting operations and enhance reporting accuracy
• Mentor and review work of the Staff Accountant, providing guidance and support.
• Assist with pulling request for tax support

The expected salary range for this position is $31.23 / hr - $40.01 / hr.

Orna considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, market data and internal equity. These considerations mean actual compensation may vary. This position will be eligible for benefits through Orna's third party payroll provider. More information may be shared upon request during the interview process.
