Job Description / Key Responsibilities

  • Follow all documented management system procedures.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret statistical data related to production quality.
  • Prepare PPAPs and other customer-required submissions including drawings, reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Investigate and respond to customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform incoming inspection of raw materials and outsourced processed parts.
  • Conduct final inspections on production parts when required.
  • Segregate and label non-conforming materials and parts to ensure proper identification and control.
  • Test products for dimensions, performance, visual, and mechanical characteristics; accurately record test data.
  • Perform destructive and non-destructive tests on materials or products to measure performance and material characteristics.
  • Manage gage calibration and tracking, ensuring proper gages are provided to machine operators.
  • Utilize statistical process control (SPC) techniques as needed.
  • Support training of new employees and cross-training of existing team members.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by upper management.

Education & Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to apply logical thinking to a wide range of practical problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience : 2–5 years of production quality or technical experience.
  • Physical Demands

  • Standing and / or sitting for long periods.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Training Requirements

  • On-the-job training provided.
  • Training needs reviewed annually to ensure continued compliance and skill development.
