Does that sound like you? The Opportunity with McKinstry We are seeking a Project Executive to join our growing Electrical team in Seattle. Are you passionate about leading projects in the built environment that have a positive impact? In this role, you will lead client relationships and revenue oversight and be responsible for leading and developing a team. - Project Coordination
- Leading and coordinating projects from initiation to close out
- Tracking current and future jobs while also projecting future staffing requirements
- Assuming financial responsibility for projects including accurate, timely and relevant reporting to stakeholder
- Maintaining positive working relationships with building owners, contractors, consultants, vendors and partners
- Communication and Team Management
- Serving as primary point of contact with our customers, architects, engineers and owners
- Informing internal and external customers of new offerings and upgrades
- Recruiting, coaching and mentoring project team members
- Acting as a steward of McKinstry culture
- Safety
- Upholding and communicating McKinstry safety standards
- Coordinating with Safety team to create and communicate site safety plan
- Ensuring safety compliance of subcontractors and all on-site personnel
What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry
Demonstrated proficiency for the responsibility of a Project ManagerEight (8) years of experience in project management, building operations or other related field is requiredKnowledge of construction concepts through a Construction Management degree or equivalent work experience requiredAbility to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals, estimates, and other regularly encountered items requiredIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookPCDD, CPM professional designation is preferredBasic estimating skills preferredStrong interpersonal and customer service skills with administrative experiencePhysical ability to walk and manage construction job sitesPeopleFirst Benefits
