The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Senior Structural Design Engineer (Level 4) to join the Air Vehicle Engineering team located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Position Responsibilities

• Uses 3-D Computer Aided Design tools to create / revise installation, assembly, and detail drawings
• Performs design reviews
• Performs review of design artifacts (e.g., drawings, cost estimates, SOWs, etc.) developed by the team
• Reviews and validates responses to Vector requests and RFEAs in coordination with other support groups
• Develops complex statements of work, metrics, schedules, and budgets
• Mentors early career designers
• Provides engineering dispositions on discrepancies (e.g., cabinets, racks, equipment installation, provisions, etc.)
• Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of structural commodities
• Works under minimal direction.

Location and Work Requirements

Expected to be 100% onsite in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Requires ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, U.S. citizenship.

Salary range : $105,400 – 142,600.

Requires ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and / or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
