• \n\nPart-Time Benefit Eligible\n\nSchedule : 7 : 00am-7 : 30pm, 24 hours / week; every third weekend & holiday rotation\n\nDepartment : Rapid Response\n\nHospital : Henry Ford Rochester\n\nLocation : Rochester, MI\n\nGENERAL SUMMARY : \n
• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.\n
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.\n
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.\n
• Serve as primary coordinator of all disciplines of well-coordinated patient care.\n
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.\n
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.\n\nLICENSURE / CERTIFICATION(S) REQUIRED : \n
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.\n
• Current ACLS or obtain within 6 months of hire / transfer.\n
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.\n\nEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : \n
• Diploma from an accredited school / college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.\n
