Our challenge

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Engineer to join our team. The candidate will provide technical support for application issues ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations. The right candidate will have join a team of passionate Engineers enjoy working in a Unix environment is passionate about troubleshooting databases and working with tools like autosys and Splunk.

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other accordance with law the base salary for this role if filled within Salt Lake City UT is$90k - $100k / year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities :

• Monitor application performance across various environments identifying and resolving issues proactively.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues.
• Manage database queries and optimizations in Sybase or similar databases to support application functionality.
• Participate in application deployments and upgrades ensuring proper implementation and adherence to best practices.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including troubleshooting guides system configurations and process workflows.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that enhance application performance and user experience.
• Conduct root cause analysis on incidents implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve support processes and services.
