Essential Job Functions : Through previous background and experience, the candidate must demonstrate, with or without an accommodation, the ability to :

• Interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all professional contacts with an emphasis on the Company's interests
• Execute design standard practices & guidelines to improve logistics operations
• Analyze data and recommend the appropriate course of action concerning the administration and management of the locations transportation network with regard to appropriate dedicated / common carrier shipment mix.

Work Environment : While most job duties are performed while seated indoors, 25% travel by automobile or airplane is required to visit the Regional DC's, where exposure to heat, cold, dirt, dust, fumes and noises should not be overlooked.

Education (Required) : Undergraduate degree required

Work Experience (Required) : 1 years experience in distribution and transportation management, preferably with experience in transportation

Skills : Demonstrate excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills and have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office.
