Senior Process Engineer – Intertape Polymer Group (IPG)

What You'll Do
As a Senior Process Engineer, you'll play a key role in optimizing our manufacturing processes and supporting new product development. Your responsibilities include :
Hold operators, maintenance, contractors, and other personnel to safety standards.Develop and conduct employee training sessions as needed for new equipment and processes.Develop and implement production methods and controls to meet quality standards in the most cost-efficient manner.Recommend improved processes, procedures, equipment, and materials to enhance efficiency and product quality.Assist R&D in the development and scale-up of new products.Investigate and provide remedies for manufacturing process problems.Establish working relationships with outside personnel to meet project objectives.Apply knowledge of current products, processes, equipment, and procedures to design analysis.Maintain detailed records and orderly files on all assigned projects.Evaluate equipment problems and design requirements of new or modified equipment.Evaluate environmental compliance projects related to the process function.Issue periodic status reports.Coach operating personnel to reduce waste generation.Resolve work-in-process problems.Review proposals of outside vendors for new or modernized production / processing equipment.Develop, implement, and communicate work instructions, procedures, and other documentation as necessary.Perform other duties as assigned.What We're Looking For
Minimum B.S. Engineering with concentration in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical, plus documented Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.Demonstrated practical problem-solving abilities.Maintains a level of trust and credibility within and between departments.Prioritizes work to focus on important problems / issues.Communicates clearly, efficiently, and professionally with others in the organization.Maintains sufficient knowledge of safety and environmental regulations as they may pertain to work assignments.Completes work assignments in a timely manner.Willingly provides consultative services to other departments as needed.Processes are monitored and evaluated for environmental regulations compliance.Why Choose IPG?
