Job descriptionSet up and operate manual lathes, mills, and machining equipment Set up and operate CNC mills (Haas, Honor, or similar—G / M-code familiarity preferred) Perform basic CNC edits and offsets to ensure part accuracy Machine precision components to tight tolerances Read and interpret drawings, prints, and specifications Perform measurement and inspection using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, etc. Adjust tools, feeds, and speeds based on materials and tolerances Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (6S) Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve machining challenges Troubleshoot machining issues and ensure high-quality workmanship Proven experience as a manual machinist (large lathes preferred) Experience setting up and operating CNC mills Ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Strong alignment with ICC's core values 5+ years machining experience Experience with large vertical or horizontal lathes Experience with CNC programming or editing (G / M code) Experience machining custom, one-off, or low-volume jobs Monthly gainsharing bonus opportunities 401(k) with company match ICC pays 100% of employee medical + 50% family coverage Dental, vision, life, and long-term disability Paid time off Long-term skill development and advancement opportunities 2nd Shift : 2 : 00pm–10 : 00pm (Monday–Friday) Training : 1st Shift (7 : 00am–2 : 00pm) Some Saturday work may be required

Position Summary
The 2nd Shift Machinist plays a key role in producing precision components for our industrial commutators and slip rings. This role requires strong manual machining skills and CNC machining capabilities. You will set up, run, and inspect work across manual lathes, CNC vertical mills, and other machining equipment. Training occurs on 1st shift (7 : 00am–2 : 00pm) before transitioning to 2nd shift (2 : 00pm–10 : 00pm).
