About The Position
Cath Lab Tech Someone with strong Peripheral Vascular Interventional experience. No holidays off Start Date : Must start on 12 / 1 Shift : 4x10 Day 07 : 00-17 : 30 Local Rate within 60 Miles : See AM Staffing Ratios : 1 : 5 2 Years Minimum Experience Required Must have 1 prior travel assignment Certs Req : BLS, ACLS, ARRT CI, ARRT VI, CCI RCIS Will accept ARRT OR RCIS Skills required : Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, Hemodynamic monitoring, Left and Right heart catheterization, Permanent Pacemaker Insertion (PPI), Scrub Procedures, Temporary Pacemaker, Stocks supplies, Circulate Procedures, Insertion / Programming of AICDs, Pacemaker Insertion, Angioplasty, Aortography, Pelvic angiography, Pulmonary arteriography, Stent placement, Angioplasty, Dialysis Graft interventions (fistulograms / declots), Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Fluoroscopy, Accurate monitoring, Equipment set up, Perform EKG lead placement, Prep access site, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, Room circulator, Scrub- maintain sterile field, Sterile Technique, Use of Rapid Response team, Isolation Precautions Special Procedures : Interventional Peripheral, Diagnostic Cardiovascular, Bone Marrow Harvest, Interventional Pulmonary, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult Patient Age group : Adults and Geriatrics Patient Diagnoses : CAD, PVD, Cancer Work Settings : Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath lab MGUH Hospital Highlights Type of Facility : Short Term Acute Care Teaching Hospital Total Staffed Beds : 402 Charting : Cerner Parking cost : yes Scrubs Provided
