Electrical Engineer - Spaceflight Hardware

Join a fast-paced team developing high-reliability electrical systems for spaceflight and aerospace applications. As an Electrical Engineer, you'll drive the design, integration, and validation of mission-critical hardware from concept through delivery.

Responsibilities

• Interpret electrical hardware requirements based on interfacing systems
• Develop and maintain electrical system requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
• Conduct concept trade studies to inform design decisions and optimize performance
• Define and baseline electrical interfaces to ensure system integration
• Perform or review electrical analyses for design validation
• Ensure hardware designs meet size, weight, power, and cost (SWaP-C) constraints
• Create, review, and release accurate electrical drawings and specifications
• Plan and execute verification and validation (V&V) activities to ensure requirements compliance
• Author assembly and test procedures to support hardware integration
• Oversee procurement, manufacturing, assembly, and testing of electrical hardware
• Support development and delivery of ISS or spaceflight safety documentation
• Present design progress and rationale to design review boards and safety panels
• Collaborate across disciplines (electrical, systems, quality) to ensure project success
• Support additional engineering tasks to advance project goals
