Join a well-established GC as a Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish. The first project is in the Education sector, however we are open to experience across the commercial space. This position is responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and quality control to ensure successful delivery. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact between the client, design team, and field operations while leading project administration and execution.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, and financial performance
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met
- Lead procurement efforts, including subcontractor and vendor coordination
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements
- Serve as liaison with owners, architects, and consultants to resolve issues and maintain project goals
- Provide leadership to project engineers, assistant project managers, and other support staff
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)3+ years of project management experience with a commercial general contractor or subcontractorStrong knowledge of construction scheduling, estimating, and trade coordinationProficiency with project management and scheduling software, plus Microsoft Office SuiteProven ability to manage budgets, contracts, and risk management processesStrong communication and leadership skills with the ability to drive project teams and subcontractors toward successBenefits :
