Construction Pipe Layer - Wet Pipe Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Construction Pipe Layer specializing in wet pipe systems, including concrete water lines, sewer systems, storm drains, and manhole installations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in underground utility installation and a strong understanding of safety standards and construction practices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Pipe Installation : Lay and align concrete water lines, sewer pipes, storm drains, and related wet pipe systems according to project specifications.
• Site Preparation : Excavate trenches and prepare bedding for pipes using appropriate tools and machinery.
• Manhole & Structure Work : Install manholes, catch basins, and other related structures accurately and securely.
• Quality Assurance : Ensure proper grade, alignment, and sealing of pipes to prevent leaks and maintain system integrity.
• Safety Compliance : Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines during all phases of work.
• Equipment Operation : Operate and maintain construction equipment such as trenchers, compactors, and pipe lasers.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with foremen, engineers, and other crew members to meet project deadlines.

This is a Contract position based out of Fort Washington, MD.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
