Job Description

The Production Lead will guide, train, and mentor production team members to foster skill development, encourage growth, and maintain high morale. This role requires coordination with other departments, including engineering and quality, to resolve issues, streamline workflows, and ensure smooth operations. You will be responsible for monitoring materials flow, managing work orders, and assisting with inventory control to minimize downtime and meet customer timelines. Additionally, you will assist in workforce planning, shift scheduling, and workload balancing to meet business demands and act as a mentor for professionalism, accountability, and teamwork on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor production team members to build skills and maintain high morale.
• Coordinate with engineering and quality departments to resolve issues and streamline workflows.
• Monitor materials flow, manage work orders, and assist with inventory control.
• Assist in workforce planning, shift scheduling, and workload balancing.
• Act as a mentor for professionalism, accountability, and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic records in the ERP system and timekeeping systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of parts to ensure they match blueprints.
• Attend regular production team meetings to collaborate with other manufacturing departments.

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $65000.00 / yr.
