Job Details : \n

  • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM

    • \n

  • Schedule : 3x12s with holiday rotation required

    • \n

  • Every other weekend (EOW) requirement

    • \n

  • No on-call responsibilities

    • \n

  • Float within scope to meet facility needs

    • \n

  • Patient ratios : 1 : 3 on med-surg side, 1 : 4 on behavioral health side

    • \n

  • Minimum 1 year of experience required

    • \n

  • Med-Surg experience and Epic charting system experience required

    • \n

  • South Carolina or Multi-State / Compact State RN License required

    • \n

  • BLS certification required

    • \n

  • First-time travelers accepted

    • \n

  • Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

    • \n

  • 12 hours of orientation required

    • \n

  • Dress code : Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal Blue bottoms

    • \n

  • Care for adults and geriatrics in 18-bed unit divided between acute care and behavioral health

    • \n

  • Work with patients having co-occurring medical and behavioral health conditions

    • \n

  • Skills required include IV management, medication administration, wound care, telemetry monitoring, and substance withdrawal care

    • \n

  • Must be available during hurricane season (June-November) for potential emergency response team assignments

    This major healthcare organization operates as a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet Hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The facility features a specialized 18-bed Complex Intervention Unit that serves patients with co-occurring medical and behavioral health conditions. The organization utilizes Epic charting systems and provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The facility maintains high standards of patient care while serving as a teaching hospital for healthcare professionals.
