Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team! If you have a passion for long-term care, strong clinical skills, and a desire to support residents and staff, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities :
- Assist the Director of Nursing with daily nursing operations.
- Support and supervise nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care.
- Help coordinate training, onboarding, and performance evaluations for nursing team members.
- Participate in care planning, assessments, and resident care conferences.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including infection control, documentation standards, and quality measures.
- Monitor staffing needs and help manage scheduling to maintain adequate coverage.
- Participate in facility audits, surveys, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support in clinical decision making.
Qualifications :
Active license in good standing.Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing strongly preferred.Prior supervisory or management experience is a plus.Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.Knowledge of regulatory compliance and nursing standards.Ability to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.
