Job descriptionProvide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to observe and report on activities, helping to deter unwanted behaviors. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities as observed during patrols. Collaborate with healthcare facility staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns or incidents as they arise. A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required. Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. A guard card or license is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol Driver Unarmed
As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol Driver Unarmed in Van Nuys, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. Your presence and proactive approach contribute to a secure atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service.
