Job descriptionSee on-treatment, follow-up, and consult patients Review and approve films and related documentation Contour and approve dosimetry Treat and stimulate patients as required Review films, dictate reports, and perform eclipse planning Delineate treatment areas and prescribe appropriate doses Must have a current Pennsylvania medical license Linear Accelerator license required Experience with Linear Accelerator and CT Simulator (3D CRT) Familiarity with Varian Radiation Oncology products preferred Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certifications Board certification in Radiation Oncology required Candidates should be computer savvy Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Whether you need long term coverage for your practice, short term vacation coverage, or anything in between – you can trust Barton Associates to provide the flexible staffing solutions your organization needs to thrive. About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Radiation Oncologist for a 3-week locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. This assignment begins on Dec 22, 2025, with day shifts from 8a-5p, providing vacation coverage. The Radiation Oncologist will manage both on-treatment and follow-up patients, consults, and is expected to demonstrate proficiency with Varian Radiation Oncology products and linear accelerator operations.
