Overview
The purpose of the electric shop is to provide quality electrical repair, alteration and minor new construction services to our customers. Under general supervision of the University Housing Facilities Maintenance Manager, the Electrician performs the full range of skilled journey-level electrical and related work including the installation, maintenance, modification and repair of electrical apparatuses, equipment and systems. Incumbents in this classification also may provide instruction and lead direction to unskilled and semi-skilled assistants.

Education and Experience
Any combination of progressively responsible training and experience which demonstrates achievement of journey-level skills equivalent to that acquired through completion of a standard electrician's apprenticeship program.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, DEGREES, CREDENTIALS : Possession of a valid driver's license or the ability to obtain by date of hire.

Anticipated Hiring Range : $71,976 - $89,484 per year
Classification Range : $71,976 - $104,844 per year

The Anticipated Hiring Range referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
