Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15)

Description :

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS : SHIFT- Nights- 3x12hrs shifts- 18 : 45-07 : 15

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : 2 years Neuro ICU

CERTIFICATIONS : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

EPIC exp required

HOLIDAYS : as needed; will be expected to work 2 of 3 upcoming holidays, no RTO between Christmas and New Years

FLOATING : may be asked to float to other ICU's if needed

UNIT INFO : Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit (NSICU) is a 10-bed intensive care unit (ICU) that provides care to critically ill?stroke patients (both ischemic and hemorrhagic) and non-traumatic neurosurgery and neurology patients 18 years and older and serves as an overflow unit for?medical?patients.?Post -operative neurosurgery and?neuro-endovascular surgery?procedures and care provided include, but are not limited to : ICP monitoring,?care post?IV and / or?IA?tPA?administration, mechanical thrombectomy, AVM repair, aneurysm repair, carotid stenting procedures, craniotomy, CRRT,?ventilator management,?and?hemodynamic monitoring.??
