Allied Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity :

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details :

  • Work in Radiology Nuclear Medicine department on 1st floor of main building
  • Day shift position with rotating on-call responsibilities
  • Open to assist with weekend shifts as needed
  • Dress code requires hunter green scrubs
  • Work with GE nuclear medicine equipment
  • Use MediTech EMR system and McKesson PACS system
  • Perform typical procedures including Lexi Scans, HIDA Scans, Gastric Emptying, Pulmonary Ventilation, Bone Scan, Liver Scans, Thyroid Scans, Renal Scans, and GI Bleed studies
  • May float to X-Ray department when needed
  • Must have experience with GE equipment and familiarity with GE Nuclear Medicine equipment and cardiac imaging
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and Texas regulations required
  • Experience with Y-90 procedures and lymphoscintigraphy procedures preferred
  • Required certifications : CNMT and Texas Medical Board license
  • Must be self-motivated, efficient, and work well with others

The facility operates with modern GE nuclear medicine equipment and maintains a small but dedicated nuclear medicine team. The organization utilizes current technology including MediTech EMR and McKesson PACS systems to support efficient patient care and diagnostic imaging services.
