Full time technical position with a growing technology company focused in the utilities sector. Our company provides specialized remote monitoring systems, products, and technical support.

We are a small team-oriented company that values our teammates and rewards success. This position will provide room to grow.

The team member will work in our facility as well as travel to client sites providing client support - both remote and in person, assist in new product development, product manufacturing, video and communications system design and integration and other day-to-day functions such as processing of shipments, R&D, etc.

Job duties and candidate attributes : (we want to hear from you - if you have some but not all these qualifications contact us anyway)

  • Background in wireless and wired intercom communications systems, LAN based video and camera systems (specific training can be provided)
  • Fundamental understanding of fiber optic and coax cables, networked video, Serial Data, Dante audio over IP, and network security, audio and video cables and how to repair / terminate various types (XLR, coax, etc.

  • Fundamental understanding of IT computer systems, networks, network shares, routers and switches, FTP and file base workflows, and general security
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve PCs, servers, clients, and other computer-related equipment problems to ensure functional operation
  • Should have knowledge of standard safety regulations and precautions
  • Able to comprehend schematic diagrams, block diagrams, and wiring drawings
  • Desire to stay abreast and learn new software and technology
  • Strong & professional written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Teamwork mindset and collaborative work ethic, professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes competing deadlines
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs and work on ladders / lifts
  • Ability to maintain a schedule that includes some nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Degree, Certifications, or 3-5 years’ work experience
  • Requires multi-night travel to client sites on a regular basis
  • Training and certification for specific systems will be provided
