Job Title : Radiology / Cardiology - CT Tech Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?) : Huntersville, NC (onsite) Contract Duration : 13 weeks Working hours - Day 3x12-Hour (08 : 00 - 20 : 30) Total hours - 36 RTO after booking is NOT allowed and is NOT allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a Cancel and DNR This position requires the candidate to be competent in peripheral IV insertions The expected start date is based on Novant s schedule but is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week, and must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate any schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start. Novant will confirm the final start date on the Tuesday prior to the start week. Certs : BLS, ARRT (CT) PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP : Skills with Neonates, peds, infants, Level I Trauma, Community Hospital, Biopsies, Myelography, Radiation Therapy Planning. JOB DETAILS : 36 hours can be offered. Will accept 13 week contracts. Shift : 12HR DAYS; 08 : 00 - 20 : 30; WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY Call Requirement : Rotating. SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS : 151-bed community hospital with two CT scanners located in close proximity to the Emergency department. The HMC CT department performs a variety of exams to include but is not limited to general scans, biopsies / drains, cardiac imaging, radiation treatment planning, and scans for research. SPECIAL EQUIPMENT : Siemens 128 Definition and Siemens Force 256 UNIT SYSTEMS : EPIC UNIT ORIENTATION : Approx 64 hours - 3 days - Corporate and 1 week - Facility / Precepted; Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day.
