Position Details :

• Position Type : Full-time, providing stability and professional growth.
• Hospital Setting : Join a 231-bed regional referral hospital, contributing to the well-being of the community.
• Electronic Medical Records : Utilize Epic EMR for efficient patient care and record-keeping.
• Inpatient and Outpatient Integration : Participate in a vibrant inpatient program, with the outpatient practice located in the same department as the Geriatrics Practice.
• Call Rotation : Engage in an inpatient weekend call rotation, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
• Work Schedule : Monday - Friday (8 am - 5 pm), offering a balanced and predictable schedule.
• Collaborative Role : Serve as the primary collaborative physician for two Palliative Care Inpatient NPs and a NP specializing in transitional care within the outpatient clinic.
• Alternative Collaboration : Act as an alternative collaborative physician for two NPs focusing on geriatric medicine within the outpatient clinic.
• Medical Equipment : Utilize advanced medical equipment, including EKG machines, Sophia-Flu, Covid Reader, and A1C testing.
• Experience : Apply your experience with working alongside APPs and managing end-of-life and chronic illnesses.
• Compassionate Care : Demonstrate compassion for ill patients and their families, contributing to a supportive healthcare environment.
