Position : Warehouse Team Lead – Wilmington, Illinois (IL)

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
• Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to team members to ensure optimal shift / team operational logistics.
• Inspire and guide team members toward improved KPI performance using appropriate leadership styles and methods.
• Assist in providing orientation and necessary information, technology and tools for employees to perform their jobs.
• Promote health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
