Job description

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician for a locum tenens assignment in New York. This sole-provider opportunity starts on Oct 24, 2025, and spans a 2-day engagement with shifts scheduled from 8am-8pm and 9am-4pm. The physician will cover a broad range of urgent care cases and must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive urgent care as the sole clinician onsite
  • Assess and manage a wide variety of cases presenting to urgent care
  • Deliver patient-centered care across all presenting conditions within the scope of urgent care
  • Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and patient management
  • Respond effectively to urgent cases and adapt to varying patient needs

    • Additional Information

  • Board certification required : BC
  • Must hold an active New York medical license
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Several years of urgent care experience preferred for sole provider coverage
