Clinical Aide
We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Aide to support our clients and clinical team in maintaining a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment. As a Clinical Aide, you'll provide vital non-clinical support that keeps clients engaged in treatment and helps prevent early discharges against medical advice (AMA). You'll also act as a key connection between clients, therapists, and other providers, contributing to the overall success of each client's recovery journey.

- Schedule : Opportunities available for full-time, part-time, and per-diem employment.
- Location : Gilman, IL
- Compensation : $19 -$21 hourly
Key Responsibilities :
Community & Client Engagement
Foster a positive and therapeutic setting by engaging with clients, reinforcing program expectations, and modeling healthy behaviors.Provide non-clinical support to clients in distress and quickly connect them with licensed therapists as needed.Keep clients on track by offering encouragement, schedule reminders, and logistical support.Shadow clinical staff to understand therapeutic approaches and program structure.Clinical Team Support
Co-facilitate psychoeducational and support groups alongside licensed clinicians by managing logistics and engaging clients.Act as a communication link between therapists, the clinical team, and outside providers.Assist Primary Therapists with scribing during sessions (when appropriate) and help maintain up-to-date client documentation under supervision.Administrative Support
Prepare session materials and organize client case files.Enter non-clinical data into the electronic health record (EHR) system.Support the team with general administrative tasks such as scanning, uploading, and filing documents.Qualifications :
High School Diploma / Equivalent or higher is required; Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field is preferred.One or more years of experience in substance use or mental health treatment settings is preferred; experience working with clients at detox and / or residential LOC is a plus.CAP, CADC, or another addiction-related certificate is preferred.Strong understanding of professional boundaries in a therapeutic environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to stay calm and supportive in a fast-paced settingComfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary teamProficient in verbal and written communicationWhy Join Banyan Treatment Centers?
