Job Description & Requirements Specialty : CVOR Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 15 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Opportunity : RN - CVOR Job Details : Work 8-hour or 10-hour day shifts beginning at 7 : 00 AM, Monday through Friday Same schedule maintained week to week for consistency On-call requirements : 10-15 total days per month, combination of nights and weekends 15-minute call response time required Required certifications : BLS and ACLS One week of unit-specific orientation provided Work embedded within general OR team when not performing cardiovascular cases Handle open heart procedures including CABG, vascular, and lung surgeries Average of 18 cases per day across 11 operating suites Experience required with open heart procedures and general OR work Scrubbing not required for RN position Float to general OR for orthopedic, urology, and ENT cases when CV cases not available Must pass open book skills exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score Scrubs provided by facility Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination Driver's license required at submittal Must reside outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit facilities Use Epic EMR system for documentation Manager and charge nurse available daily with no room assignment for charge nurse Facility : This acute care healthcare facility features a comprehensive cardiovascular operating room with 11 surgical suites handling an average of 18 cases daily.
