American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN with a current CA license and advanced cardiac procedure skills.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory

Day shifts, 5x8 hours, from 07 : 00 to 15 : 30

Every other weekend required

On-call at least 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month, with opportunities to take additional call shifts

Adult patient population undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures

Primary responsibilities include assisting with adult cardiac catheterizations, device placements, and various interventional procedures

Required to circulate procedures and monitor procedural sedation

Responsible for sheath removal and post-procedure monitoring

Pre-assignment modules and specialty-specific training required prior to start

Local candidates accepted at the same rate

Previous employees may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Active CA RN license required at time of consideration

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Proficiency in a wide range of cardiac cath lab procedures such as diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, cardiac implant procedures, and device insertions

Experience with advanced interventions including IABP, Impella, PCI, TAVI / TAVR, and pacemaker / defibrillator management

Competence in sedation administration, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency medication management
