Job description

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Application Developer (Charlotte) to join their dynamic team. As an Application Developer (Charlotte), you will be part of the IT department supporting critical application development and maintenance initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Support ongoing development work to ensure application stability and performance.
  • Participate in all production support activities for web applications (.Net, Angular, SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert for application functionality and production platform issues.
  • Assist in release deployments, software / server upgrades, and disaster recovery testing exercises.
  • Provide capacity management support to ensure optimal database and server space allocation.

What's Needed?

  • 8+ years of experience in the IT industry with a focus on application development and support.
  • Hands-on experience with .Net, ASP.NET, WEB API, Angular, SQL Server (including SSIS), and Oracle.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Bit Bucket.
  • Experience with Hadoop, Teradata, Autosys, and supporting release and deployment activities.
  • Strong debugging skills and the ability to work independently within SLA parameters.
