D&D Commodities, a business unit of Central Garden & Pet Company, is a leader in the bird food manufacturing industry. We are searching for a Class A CDL Driver for our Argyle, MN location. This role is essential to the success of our shipping operations and plays a critical role in delivering products safely and efficiently to and from our local production facilities in Stephen and Argyle. The Class A CDL Driver will also support other departments as needed and contribute to safe and smooth day-to-day operations. Key responsibilities include loading, securing, and delivering freight using company equipment, ensuring product arrives intact. Route runs between Argyle, MN and Stephen, MN. Safely operate trucks with a GVW up to 80,000 lbs. and maneuver into loading / unloading positions. Inspect vehicles regularly and perform basic preventative maintenance. Comply with all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies. Review shipping paperwork and organize deliveries efficiently. Assist with errands, supply pickups, and other duties as assigned. Support production and / or maintenance teams when not driving. Maintain clean driving and delivery documentation and report any incidents, defects, or violations.
