Medical Scheduler

Scheduler Role

Scheduler role which includes patient scheduling, transferring calls, and emergency overhead paging. They will be monitoring rooms and when someone rings the bell they answer to see what the patient needs. At other locations they will be answering and transferring calls to different departments. They will also be required to follow-up on all calls and ensure things get done for the patient. High volume of calls, need to be prepared for that.

Skills : computer skills, customer service, phone etiquette, scheduler, medical secretary, medical receptionist, office assistant, patient access, patient scheduling, medical terminology, scheduling appointments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications : Must be able to type 30 WPM or more. Do not need healthcare, open to anyone with strong call center / phone exp / recept / switchboard / tel operator. Must have excellent phone skills and computer skills. Must have excellent customer service. Must be flexible with the shift.

Experience Level : Entry Level.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of Randallstown, MD.

Pay and Benefits : The pay range for this position is $17.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
