Gastroenterology Physician at Era Locums summary :

The Gastroenterology Physician position involves providing care to both outpatient and inpatient settings, primarily focusing on procedures such as colonoscopies and EGDs. The role requires coverage for specific weeks, with a schedule that includes time at an Ambulatory Surgery Center and in a clinic environment. Ideal candidates will be qualified to perform a range of gastroenterological procedures and will manage patient consults in a collaborative healthcare setting.

Coverage needs : 1-2 weeks per month Jan Jun
(The preference is to have the same provider for the entire week)
Schedule : MWF 7a-3 : 30p and clinic 8a-4 : 30p Tues / Thurs
Will consider a provider who needs a license
Note Maryland licensing process takes about 8 weeks + CDS (IMLC State!)

Outpatient :

Provider will split time between 3 days MWF at the ASC or same day surgery center

Tues / Thurs. 2 days for clinic

GI Outpatient is Monday-Friday. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in Same Day Surgery from 7am-3 : 30pm performing procedures. Typically, 12-14 procedures a day, which is a variety of colonoscopy s and EGD s. On Tuesday and Thursday, the provider will be in the outpatient GI clinic seeing patients.

Inpatient :

Provider will cover hospital inpatients, consults, and procedures From About 8a - 430p If Finished Early Can Leave as Long as Within 30 Min Response Time
