Job description

Overview

Mechanical Design & Test Engineer (CREO) – Orlando, FL. US Citizenship is required. Security clearance : ability to obtain interim secret clearance; final clearance may be required. 1st shift, four 10-hour days with every Friday off (4 / 10 schedule). 100% onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical engineer for the Test Engineering Mechanical COE.
  • Detailed mechanical design and drafting of test stations, design changes, and general CAD modeling.
  • Design vibration fixtures for units under test and fixtures for thermal testing.
  • Coordinate with the documentation group on program product design and test engineering packaging.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of Creo experience, ability to create 3D models and CCAs, harnesses and cables; implementation of geometric tolerancing; experience in 3D modeling (CREO required); optical physics; understanding of precision machining; design review presentations.
  • 5 years' experience in Mechanical design or Electromechanical design.
  • At least 1 year of Windchill experience.
  • Experience coordinating with documentation groups.

  • Zuken experience (not required).

    Security Clearance : Ability to obtain; interim secret clearance acceptable.
